What are the top 5 disruptive start-ups focused on accounting/closing the books software?

I’m a CPA and I manage the books for over 500+ startups. While there have been some disruptors in the Accounting Software space (Xero, Wave, and Freshbooks) I still believe that QuickBooks is the best. For now. There are key features that are missing in some of the new competitors, BUT they’ve definitely put pressure on Intuit/QuickBooks to become more innovative.

If you’re a startup, go with QuickBooks Online.

  1. It’s easy to use

  2. It integrates with many other accounting apps (Bill.com, Zenpayroll, Abacus, Expensify, etc)

  3. It easily transitions to QuickBooks desktop should you become a mutli-million dollar company and need more robust accounting capabilities.

$250M+ VC Funding Raised
I had a great experience working with Kruze Consulting when we raised Series A. They know what VCs need to see, and how to present a startup’s books and finances. If you are going to raise venture capital, you need experts like Kruze.
