Experience

I lead the team that owns the monthly close, onboarding, and financial services, and my focus is on ensuring that what we deliver holds up under the scrutiny institutional capital brings. A clean, defensible close is what allows a founder to raise, scale, or sell without the financials becoming an obstacle.

At Kruze Consulting, my work spans the entire startup lifecycle, from Pre-Seed setup to strategic exits. I have guided several startups through high-profile acquisitions. In one, I supported the accounting architecture and diligence preparation for a device-management company in its acquisition by a leading technology company. I have also worked with founders through the full arc of scaling, including an early-stage AI company where I managed accounting operations through its initial growth phase until it successfully scaled and transitioned to an in-house team.

Throughout my work with hundreds of startup founders, I consistently see that long-term success relies on mastering disciplined cash-runway management, sustainable growth pacing, and clarity about the end exit goal. Cash management surfaces first and most often, and it usually determines whether the other two are even on the table, which is why I push founders to get a real handle on runway before anything else. Once that foundation is solid, the growth and exit decisions become far clearer.
