Now the yucky stuff.
We are based in San Francisco, but we’ve allowed for a remote/flexible working style beginning 3 years ago.
We have teammates all over the country and all over the world. As of Feb 2020, we had ex-pats in London, Croatia, and Paris.
Having a remote and flexible working style was the number 1 request from our team, and while it took some time to implement… we made it happen!
We like to get together as one whole team once a year. Last year we gathered at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas.
Three things make Kruze Consulting unique:
We promote the continuous improvement of our teammates, our clients, and our firm.
We conduct our work with openness, honesty, and integrity.
We seek to overcome challenges through unique and innovative solutions.
We seek to establish processes and systems that are clean, intuitive, nimble, and scalable.
We communicate and collaborate with our teammates and clients in a respectful and clear way, while not forgetting to have some fun along the way.
We use data to improve our client experience, measuring our accuracy, timeliness, customer satisfaction and more.
We care deeply about our startup clients, acting as trusted advisors and helping them change the world.
Kruze is passionate about serving our clients through the creation of clear financial performance analysis delivered through excellent project management.
Our purpose is to support world class entrepreneurs as they innovate and disrupt incumbent industries through technology. We have many clients who are changing the world for the better, and we are honored to stand with them in their mission.
By the Year 2030, Kruze seeks to be the elite provider of startup advisory services. There are over 15,000 Seed, Series A and Series B startups that have raised more than a million in funding in the US alone.
We’re not here to be the biggest, we are here to be the best.
After analyzing hundreds of timecards, we can say that the average full time Kruze Employee works a 40 hour work week, with 35 hours billable and 5 hours G&A. Over the course of a year, you will likely work 16.5 weekend hours: sometimes that's an hour every Sunday night, sometimes there’s a crunch Saturday. Unfortunately, there are moments of high workload, when a client is doing a life changing translation like and M&A exit or VC fund raise.
These are exciting to work on, but it’s difficult to predict when they will happen.
So much of our culture is rooted in our Core Values, but to give you a few more examples of how these values show up:
Yes! Our last get together was in Las Vegas for 2 nights and 3 days at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. We bond. We learn. We eat. The pandemic has put a wrench in that, but we’re hoping to get back together again as soon as possible. (China Poblano, we miss you!)
Yes, there are “busy seasons” for our team:
